Grandpa Ed took us over to Vilas to see the fish (muskie maybe???~I was listening I swear, but also trying to keep my children from falling in the water). The muskie have to jump the dam as part of their spring ritual...you know...that mating thing! It was cool. You could see the fish~they are like a foot long and they were just hanging out saving up the energy to make the 'jump'. We saw one make an attempt but it didn't make it over the top.
