For the past several years I have been teaching a bubbles class for the park and rec so I have made many many batches of bubble solution. They have all been the same ingredients but I've played with the ratios. I think I have found the perfect ratio.
These bubbles were amazing!

Brave
For the last day of swimming lessons Lacey's class went to the diving well. She won't put her head under the water and won't even jump off of the edge of the pool into your arms unless you are right there and she can hold your hands as she jumps.
But to my surprise, Lacey ventured out on to the diving board.
She turned around and went back down the stairs, but she was very brave to try!

The Bob
Molly started asking for a haircut in April. One of her friends had gotten a cute little bob and Molly wanted one too.
I made her wait until after the dance was over so she would have more hair-do options for the recital.
But now it's June and she still wants to go short! I warned her that her naturally curly hair may not cooperate with the short straight bob she was coveting but she wanted to try it anyway.
Bonus: The hairdresser measured Molly's hair and when it's wet there were 9 inches! So she suggested we donate it to Pantene's hair program.
So off it goes!

Dorothy is that you?
We've have had some pretty crazy storms for the early part of summer. Way to many tornado sirens going off!
We had some storm damage from a storm that blew through at 8:00 in the morning! The girls and I were downstairs and Chris was already at work. I found lots of sticks in the yard, several shingles from another persons house, and a fairly large branch on our roof.
Thankfully no one was hurt and we managed to get the branch off without too much hassle. There does not appear to be any damage to the roof so I think we got lucky!
Silver lining: The branch made for some great wood for the firepit that Chris got for father's day!

Lacey is a Daisy....still
The Daisy program is a two year program so Lacey will remain a Daisy for another year. They did have an end of year celebration and recognition program.
On my honor,
I will try
to serve God,
my country,
and to live by the
girl scout law.

End of the year
My first year of working outside of the home came to a close and I was fortunate enough to be able to sneek a way and be a mom on a Kindergarten fieldtrip with my favorite Kindergartner and her buddies!
My school got out a day before the girls' did so I also got to attend the last day of school party including the Kindergarten graduation parade.

Soccer Season Squared
Morgan had a spring soccer season with a new coach and a new team. She did a great job again being aggressive and learning to control the ball.
************************************************************
Taylor had the same team as in the fall. They did move up a bracket from the spring so they played some new teams this spring. They were very excited and proud to take second place at the Verona tournament.

End of the year projects
Morgan had to teach her class how to do something. She taught them how to do a cartwheel and a round-off.
Molly had two presentations at the end of the year. She taught her classmates how to facepaint and then she had to do a project on sound. She chose to create an air cannon. We then created a movie to go along with her project.
