The kids were all up by 6:45....which wasn't too bad. Taylor had been up at 5 am the morning before so I was prepared for the worst and was pleasantly surprised when I rolled over and saw a 6 on my clock!
So the girls were ready to go by 7.....presents were distributed...Lacey was already pushing around her new stroller and babies...which are all currently named 'tori' (in honor of the addition to our daycare family who is a 3-month old dolly as far as Lacey is concerned)

I was very excited when Santa gifted the girls dolls. We have been reading Kit at bedtime so the girls were excited about getting their dolls. Taylor's was named Kit and Molly's was named Riley (after her 2nd grade reading buddy)
Taylor wanted to dress like her doll right away so she changed Kit into her pajamas and robe and then got on her own robe so they would match. When it came time to dress for the day she had to wear a white ribbon just like Kit. Molly was enjoying her doll too. When I tucked them into bed at night they both dressed their dolls back into their jammies and I had to tuck them into bed with them. However, Molly was found with a pair of scissors and a lock of brown hair the day after Christmas....so Riley is on vacation for awhile until Molly convinces me she is "old' enough to have a "big girl" gift. But on to happier times...........
Morgan was excited about everything ~ which is one of the great things about 3 year olds....She loved her cookie matching game, her instruments, her puzzles, her beads, and her new outfit and shoes...she loved the shoes....what a girly girl!
Two-year olds love everything too! Especially anything having to do with Elmo and friends. She was gifted an Abby dolly by her godmother a week ago which she sleeps with now and she was gifted a bus with lots of Sesame Street friends in it that she's been playing with a lot. When her babies are sleeping of course......
We had a busy day. Brunch at Grandma Sue's, late afternoon and evening at Grandma Dar's.
