Mufasa came to Madison! We loved the mini-show we saw in Disney 3 years ago and we were hoping to see the big performance. Grandma Dar wanted us all to go too!
A fantastic show. Love the music and the singing! The puppets are amazing! Lacey commented on the shadow puppets too~very cool!

Goal!
The end of another soccer season.
Lacey continued to play in-house this season. Her team really improved in their ability to pass the ball.
Morgan also played with the same team as in fall. She played goalie more than I would like, but she likes it and I'm glad she tries! She had a great time at her first Redden tournament too!
Taylor finished up her spring season with a new coach. Instead of playing defense like she did all fall, this coach played her on offense (yay!). She also scored a few goals this season and enjoyed playing. A few of her team-mates had some injuries and there were some conflicts with spring sport commitments so the team was not super cohesive over the spring.
Hair Cut!
The shaggy little ladies got haircuts....most only got trim~and if you recall from previous posts, Molly put hers right back into a ponytail...but Lacey wanted it short!
So cute!
So cute!

The Year of the Selfie
Well she survived the first year of her teens..the next one...we'll see!
Her birthday fell on a Friday this year~Friday the 13th!
Started the day with a birthday gift.
Emoji obsession! Then after a cold, wet, rainy, miserable soccer game; several people joined us for some birthday evening fun.
What she wanted for her birthday: giftcards (typical teenager!)...though the selfie-stick was a hit too!

Honor
My dad passed away on a very cold day~bitter January wind and ice.
Today, May 4th, which would have been my parents 42nd wedding anniversary we honored him with his military rights
It was emotional and inspiring~rest in peace soldier!
