No Halloween costumes at school so it was dress like a book character day instead. Kit is an American Girl from the 1930's. Her family is effected by the Great Depression and she loves Amelia Earhardt and wants to be a reporter.
We did not have any flour-sack dresses laying around....so a trip to Goodwill it was...and score!
Already had the haircut...and grabbed the cute hat at Children's Place...not sure the boots are period...but they matched!
We added some props...just in case someone wasn't sure who she was.
I was very happy....and this isn't even the halloween outifit!
