A Foot of Snow

Soooooo, we got a little snow!  And a little wind.
And it made the yard look really cool.
Snow drifts up to 5 feet and grass in others.  Like the waves of the ocean.
Mother Nature rocks!

Chris spent about 4 hours shoveling and snowblowing us out.  And then the snowplow comes through.....and that's a lot of extra snow that gets piled at the end of the driveway.

We headed to the backyard.  It was an adventure.  Morgan and Lacey did pretty well...they are light enough that they can manage to stay on top of some of the deeper snow drifts.  Some of us...*ahem* are not so fortunate and it was quite a scene having to actually climb into the backyard.

Molly made her way over to what is usually the garden and got *stuck*

The calvary arrived....

Chris is thinking, "Sandy white beaches"

Molly is making snow angels.

In the front yard, Taylor, Molly and I decided to try and make a tunnel.

We started two holes and tried to meet in the middle.

Getting closer....

And closer.....

Success!

Happy Snow Day!
