Just look at that face!....now fast forward 10 years...and pray for me! lol
Lacey is something else...we were at the doctor this week for "dirty eyes" as Lacey called them and as the doctor is examining her she asks, "what are you going to do next doctor?".....she makes me laugh every day! Double ear infection by the way...probably the cause for the 'dirty eyes'...since no one else has popped up with pink eye yet...*knock on wood*
Took Grandma Sue to the theatre for her bithday. First big theatre for Morgan and Lacey. Despite Morgan's stoic appearance she did enjoy the performance. And I just love the children's theatre...such talented kids!
Payed for a ticket for Lacey but she sat on my lap the entire show so I could keep her constant questions and comments to a whisper...or at least a hush ; )
The story basically took the three little pigs, three billy goats gruff, and three little bears and mixed them up so that characters from the stories were all confused...it was very cute..but a little confusing for lacey because she wanted the traditional story line, "When's the big bad wolf coming? When's the big bad wolf coming?" "Soon, soon"
We went to the 'meet and greet' afterwards and she high-fived the big bad wolf...figured she waited long enough for him to show up!

I was a little anxious about getting to the show on Saturday since it is at the overture center and so close to the capital...and in case you've been living under a rock for the past month...there are a few people up there!
My picture sucks...but we were a little unsure about how far we wanted to go with the four kiddos in tow. The feeling of solidarity up there is amazing! The parking....not so much....there were many empty seats at the performace I'm sure due to the fact that people either couldn't find a parking spot or they didn't want to even try. But we got lucky and found a spot on the street. The ride home was slow going but everybody was patient...just a lot of cars and a lot of pedestrians...I'm thankful those driving conditions are not my everyday reality..so I could handle it for one day...especially considering the cause!
The next sucky picture is the back of people's head as they watch the farmers on their tractors circle the capital...the building on the left there is the overture...so if we had stayed put for about 4 minutes we would have had a front row seat...but instead we got the back of peoples heads....history in the making!
When we first got to the capital both Taylor and Molly noticed the people carrying signs again and asked why people were still mad at the Governor....(we had been there two weeks ago)..I just told them that the Governor still isn't listening to the people very well. Then they talked about how there teachers at school were all wearing red and standing in a line outside of school this week when they left. Yep, they are mad with the Governor too.
*sigh*
