We finally got up early enough to ride the bus this week! Cereal was crunched, teeth tickled, flip-flops flopping and we were on our way!
Lacey was right there with them...backpack and all.
The bus arrived. Taylor and Molly were instructed to have Morgan sit in the middle.
Then Lacey and I dashed home to grab the van and head to school so we could greet the bus....it's a summer school bus so the route is pretty big and we had to wait a bit...Lacey and I looked a little funny waiting for the bus with my camera ready...helicopter mom???
Then we had time to spare before school started...so to the playground we went. And Morgan started work on the Kindergarten right-of-passage...the monkey bars!
They also have one of those roller slides. Lacey was very unsure of it...she climbed the stairs quite a few times and would stand at the top but then change her mind...finally she mustered up enough courage and found she LOVED it...the look says it all!
Whistles blew and the kids ran to line up...Morgan is loving her first school experience and I'm very glad. And she loves her teacher, Miss Barman.
