We celebrated my little Lacey with My Little Pony.
About a week prior to her big day she would wake...ask what day it was..and then if it was her birthday yet...finally I got to tell her YES!
I said, Yes, baby it's your bithday!
And she replied, I'm not a baby I'm four.
Yes, you are.
And a very excited one at that.
She answered the door on Saturday as family arrived to help celebrate and she was bouncing and bouncing and bouncing.
She calmed down a little later to open presents and l.o.v.e.d every gift.
Which just made it all the more fun to watch!
She joined her sisters this year and became the proud owner of an American Girl.
She quickly named her Lucy.
(Which I thought was pretty funny because that was almost her name...I was vetoed and we compromised on Lacey)
Her actual birth day we celebrated with little daycare friends and as a family went out to dinner.
Lacey chose Rocky's for the pizza, games, and TV.
(she gets that from her father)
We came home with lot of 'treasures'.
And as tradition dictates we watched home videos of Lacey as a baby.
*sigh* the time goes by so quickly
You are growing into an amazing little girl; full of passion and imagination.
Thank you for being my baby...even if you don't think you are!
