Molly chose some friends to come over for 'an almost sleepover'. After school on Friday, Molly prepared the goody bags and we ordered the pizza for dinner.
She wanted the cookie birthday treat....
Pajamas and presents before a little dance party.
Then they settled in for a barbie movie and some popcorn.
Everyone claimed they stayed awake...but there were more than a few sleepy looking little eyes by 9:00.
Less than 12 hours later we were getting ready for a family birthday brunch. Molly requested her candle in a stack of pancakes...chocolate chip with whipped cream....yummo!
As if two days of celebrations were not enough, on her 'actual' birth day she chose Subway for lunch. Then we thought we would be heading to the mall to get her ears pierced...but she changed her mind...she asked me when I got mine pierced~ I told her 12..so she decided she wasn't ready yet. Guess Taylor just got herself some new earings!
Since we didn't go to the mall we headed to the bowling alley.
Molly even got a strike!
Dear Molly,
Your second grade year has been a great one for you. You really enjoying writing~I can't wait to read your monthly journals. Your artwork was on display at the library this year and you're enjoying another year of ballet, tap, and jazz. You have a preference for sequins and have some serious fashion sense. Your friends are important to you and you planned your very own holiday party. This past summer you figured out a two-wheeler and jumped off the diving board. Mommy and daddy are very proud of your talents and will be there to hold your hand whenever you do decide to get those little ears pierced!
