The Pet

 One of our summer goals was to add a pet to our family.  We did some kitty shopping at our friendly neighborhood farms and found this little one.

We gathered a few supplies and went back a few days later to bring him home.

Wendy tried to convince us that each girl should have her own, but we graciously declined!

All ready for the first car ride in the leopard print carrier!

Then the great name debate began.  The top two contenders were Tobey and Disney with Dizzie for short.  I posted our new addition on facebook and proudly declared it was a boy!

 

Two days later we went to the vet and learned he was really a she!  As one of my clever friends on fb posted, "No boys for you!"

 

She has adjusted very well to her new home.  Dizzie is very patient with the girls who are constantly picking her up.  She likes to play with strings.

 She's very agile.

 

She likes to play outside with her collar and leash.

 



 

And has some favorite inside hiding places. (though the girls usually find her)
