Sun Prairie Schools are so full that they are having to be creative with spacing. In November, we learned that the 5th grade from Eastside would be going to Patrick Marsh next year and that Horizon's 5th grade would be going to Prairie View.
After a lot of drama and meetings it was time to celebrate the inevitable. Morgan's last year at Eastside. There has never been a 4th grade recognition ceremony so this was the first. A little less formal than the 5th grade program. It happened during the day and we served rice krispie treats rather than cake. Students walked the stage and teachers read a sentence that the students had written about themselves.
The students got to select the sentence they wanted read about them. Morgan chose, "Morgan would like everyone to know that she is the shortest and fastest player on her soccer team." It elicited some chuckles from the crowd!
