We left Waunakee at 3:15 on Tuesday, April 2nd and arrived in New Orleans at 11 am on Wednesday, April 3rd.
Sleeping on a bus...not recommended~those rumble strips are disturbing at 3 am when you are trying to sleep sitting up.
Fell asleep somewhere in Illinois to leftover snowdrifts and brown~woke up to blue skies and green leaves!
and palm trees!
We were dropped off at the French Market and given 2 hours to explore.
First taste of New Orleans! Yum!

The ceiling is where they stored the life jackets. The amount of spider webs leads me to conclude that they are not used often...that's a good thing.
