Wisconsin to Washington

New adventures.  Corey finished his first three-year military tour in Germany.  Molly and he have been planning for his return to the States in 2026.  After a few changes and some typical red tape, Corey has been assigned to Joint Base Lewis McChord (JBLM) which is both an Army and Air Force in Washington State. They were set up in temporary housing for five weeks (in local hotels on base) until a house was available.  Luckily for them, one opened up, and they got to move in on February 11th.  Molly got to spend her 22nd birthday unpacking the 60-some boxes that had been in storage- that's a lot of birthday presents!

Saying good-bye was not easy.  I'm excited for this next chapter for both of them but will miss not having them close by.  

Their friends also joined us at the airport for a good-bye.

Corey gave us souvenir coasters from Germany for Christmas.

We had to ship Molly her car.  After a lot of text messages and a panic that I was totally getting scammed, it finally came together.  It was a freezing-cold day (high of -5), but he loaded up Molly's car, and 5 days later, she received it.
