Taylor turned 7 this week! How did that happen? She loves to read and write so she opened up a new notebook and a fancy pink pen.
I was lucky enough to get to spend some time in school for her special day.
Taylor's favorite books right now are the Rainbow Magic series. There are over 100 of them and they are written in sets of seven (how appropriate huh?!). Each set has seven different fairies that have adventures in Fairy Land. Taylor's mom loves a good theme! So her birthday treat was....Fairy Wands! A large marshmallow on a stick, dipped in white chocolate and then dipped in rainbow sprinkles...absolutely no nutritious value whatsoever but lots and lots of fun!
Taylor was also in the "spotlight". Which is pretty much like a special person for the day. She agreed to get a little more mileage out of her science fair experiment and shared it with her classmates. She asked them to raise their hand if they thought the object she held up would float. It was a hit and it was fun to see her in front of her friends.
