Using a white cake mix I divided it into six bowls and used their recommendations to mix the colors.
I noticed even as I was spooning them one by one into the cupcake holders that the color was messing with my head a little. My nose wanted to smell the colors...red cherry...orange orange...yellow lemon...
I was excited to see if they would turn out like the picture.
And to my delight they did! I was only able to get 20 cupcakes instead of the usual 24....
But two batches was enough for a happy class of second graders and eager daycare children....
Add a cloud at the end of the rainbow and yummo!
