May 13th, 2001 was the day I became a mommy and it has been an on-going adventure that started with this little girl who turned 9 this year.
Her first birthday present was some music...she was thrilled!
and she even shared!...I was thrilled!
She picked Rocky's for her birthday supper....not sure which was the bigger draw..the pizza...
or the games!
Tickets, tickets, tickets...so what does $20 buy???? 2 erasers and 4 lollipops...oh, and a thrilled 9-year-old!
Saturday was day one of the soccer tournament. Not the warmest soccer weather for May but she played well and she had fun!
In between soccer games, (because there's no rest for the weary) Taylor had a gymnastics themed birthday party for her and 9 friends. (well, 8 and her sister....)
Some of the time was led by the instructor and then the rest of the time was free time for the kids.
She is putting some chalk on her hands for the bar...then she told me it was 'dough'...(the flour that you put on your hands when you're pressing out cut-out cookies)...my funny little big girl!
Then it was back for more soccer...and this time Molly was along...I mentioned it was cold right? This was her nest.
Sunday was another soccer game and it was cold and windy! But she was very proud of her medal!
After soccer, family came over to help celebrate the birthday girl! She loved her new clothes, new music, new purse, and new camera.
The finale of the 9th birthday was her very own library card. You should have seen her sign her name on the back...she was sooooo excited!
So this Friday the 13th was very lucky because I got to celebrate my little big girl...love you Taylor!
