Driving and driving and driving and we finally find a parking spot...the zoo was hopping (and roaring, and slithering) on Mother's Day.
But with the spring we've had..or haven't had....when it's nice people go out!
Lacey was very much into the map...I think she was channeling Dora.
The kids were good about the birds that like to visit the picnic area. We fed them a little...shhhh, don't tell!
And I thought they would last all of 30 seconds in the lake considering the date and how cold the water must have been...but I guess since it was so shallow right by the beach it was tolerable. The girls had fun picking up and throwing rocks....I just love seeing the girls play on the beach...it's very...timeless.
